Literally adapting too many features of different Nephentes species. There are indeed Nephentes that close their mouth lips. There are indeed fat as fuck Nephentes sacks. They indeed twist their brands like that but not around the sack, and just like with Victreebell the sack that's supposed to come from it does not spurt and dries out. The leaf is actually just the format of the mouth of another Nephentes species. The thicker lips are also a feature of another Nephentes specimen.

I think I would've went with a design that causes acid to be constantly pouring over from the pitcher. Another idea I can think of is having the acid be so powerful that it proceeds to melt the bottom of the pitcher part, but maybe that's a bit too extreme for Pokemon.

Make the belly bigger and add moobs/boobs, and add ultra detailed jiggle physics

Kinda rough but it's what I had in mind, I used the original Mega as a starting off point and I noticed it was kinda shaped like one of those bottles onis are depicted with, so I just went harder on that, plus added some purples and pinks to make it more poison type since some megas change some of the Pokemon's colors

I don't know guys, with that pokemon it looks like victory *puts on sunglasses* is in the bag.

Simple - add some colours to its core body. Here are some possible options

I would have completely redone it

i just mean like when a special form only changes 1 specific element, and a large amount of the design just stays exactly how it was before.
supplementing the exaggerated feature with other, lesser changes elsewhere is necessary to me. (mega kanghaskhan is the only exception i can think of where it seems better that lots of stuff goes unchanged)
for gigantamax blastoise, the shell is the big focal change and the supplemental changes are the patterns on the legs/tail, new toes, new armor plate shapes, tweaked colors and different proportions.
if those supplemental changes were all removed or downplayed beyond a certain extent, i wouldn't really like it anymore, or at least not as much

(honestly i think it maaybe could've used a tiny bit more, maybe a bit more detail between the belly armor plates to imply denseness or something, but it's good as it is)
