There seems to be a lot of newfags in the Pokemon fanbase that weren't here for the Gen 6 hype train. Dragonite and Victreebel do fit the design philosophy GF used for a lot of megas. Just to gauge your veracity though: do you even remember which mega was associated with a “devolution beam” on its reveal? Do you remember which language version of the official site influenced this? Do you remember what mega pokemon was shown having ice punch, but didn’t end up having it in the game? If you can’t answer these, then I’ll know you weren’t actually there at all for the ORAS prerelease era.
