Level 1: Against each other, whic one did YOU pick.
Level 2: Against other generations individuallu in their respective element.
Level 3: Against other generations as unit.
Add to that that by the end of a generation there is usually a winner (Shillmon) and a loser (that ot fuck all) and there is fuel on the flame.

Why do they have such autistic fan bases? And what makes them so seething?
Let’s get to the bottom of this seething autistic fiasco anon before we fall asleep quicker than a singing jiggly puff.

Pokémon boards are basically infested by losers who never fit anywhere.
In a desperate to feel like they belong, they keep creating creating groups where they can fit: "I picked Bulbasaur, so I belong to Bulbasaur team", "I belong to bulbasaur team, therefore I also belong to anti-Charmander and anti-Squirtle teams".

I guess that since this is the first pokemon you choose, some people get attached to them.
However some retards can't accept that people have different tastes nor that the starters they hate have actual fanbases. All of these starters (except some rare cases like Emboar and Chesnaught) have at least one member of their line in the Top 30 of their region in the 2020 vote.

Because the impartiality that made starters perfect in mainline games has gone out of control in XY, and everyone wants a perfect start like Greninja.
So we have the same boring thread about the result of a poll made by a nobody on YouTube or Twitter, or a thread about the biggest flaw of a popular pokemon repeated over and over again.
