I am rewatching the movie and I now completely understand why I was so obsessed with her as a kid. She behaves like an animal (in the best way possible). Her constantly scanning you, mute, with an innocent playful curiosity. It's so charming. Do girls like this exist irl?

I find it funny how Ash flat out followed Bianca and then continued to run after Latias after Bianca escaped his sight. Imagine how many stalkers the girl has gotten from Latias.

It's funny how Latias gets all the attention with this form compared to Bianca herself. You see this in fics related to M5 Latias as well where some authors just go heavy in the compliments when describing Latias using the form, then they'll gloss over Bianca not even moments later.

Bianca didn't even get much attention in the movie itself. She mainly exists to be who Latias bases her human form on and to parallel Ash for Latios.

Alto Mare is definitely my favorite setting from the franchise. They did a really good job showing it off with the Tour de Alto Mare, Ash running with and then later after Latias, and when Ash and Latias did their dash to the museum. It really helped capture and bring the place to life. That music also did a lot to further enhance this experience.

I am sure they did 25 years ago yes but nowadays Venice is a shithole filled with browns, blacks, indians, soulless modernist constructions, touristic nicknack garbage stores and vendors, bad food and littered streets.
I wish this was only in the center like some cities but no, it's all of it.
Believe me I've been. Don't even get me started on everyone wearing jeans with sneakers or whatever soulless modernist fashion trend.
Whatever charm the city used to have has long been stripped away. Sure, the ancient architecture remains but it's being overshadowed by all the rest. Great way to get mugged too since italy has an absurd criminality rate.
It's like telling someone who likes Lumiose to visit Paris or something.

Plus, I'm fairly sure that even during good times, Venice didn't look as good as Alto Mare purely because pokemon is an utopic anime world with borderline unfeasible architecture and everyone being rich with great fashion sense. I doubt Venice even 30 years+ ago had cute girls painting near the water while wearing berets.
I could be wrong though, the streets and general clothing aesthetics at least looked much better 200/100 years ago for sure.
We could have nice things like in fiction, it's doable. But not while the world is in its current state.

While there isn't a single one I'd say I dislike, her neutral, costume, maid, sundress, and winter outfits would probably be my favorite ones.
I always liked her outfit in movie 5 and it maintains for here as well. Her costume gives me the impression it was inspired by Mist Ball and the aesthetic aspects of the move itself and I really appreciate that design flow. The maid dress is an obvious nod to Pokémon Special Latias and I think Tia pulls off the outfit really well here. The sundress feels very reminiscent of her neutral outfit and she looks stunning in it. While the Winter dress just looks really cute to me.
As for what I'd like to see her get down the line? I'd like her to get an outfit to reference Latios in some capacity and another to reference her mega evolution. As for any specific details as to what those type of outfits would be, I wouldn't know for sure right now.

Alto Mare is an isolated island south of Azalea Town. It is accessible via ferries near Cherrygrove City. So it's in Johto making Latias and Latios Johto Pokemon. This takes place before Ash is meant to take on the Silver Conference. Guy could have cheesed a win if he convinced Latias to come with him.

ability: Hadron Engine (reflecting the machine producing electricity and allowing to use electric moves without needing the STAB)
other possible abilities: Drizzle (better Surf and Thunder), Magnet Pull (reflecting how the machine lock in pokemons)

Moves: Energy Ball (against ground check)/Aura Sphere (against dark check)/Magnet Rise (if needed to counter ground since we lost levitation)
Psychic/Psycho Boost
Calm Mind/No Retreat/Roost
Surf (against ground check)/Rising Voltage/thunder

If too strong just put weaker moves/stats

Life Orb as item complete the movie accurate pokemon as it drain latias health for every attack

A shame Ash and co. didn't straight up go there after freeing the younger Latios and Latias but I was really happy to see her again regardless.
Jealous that Japan got an event distribution to coincide with the movie's 20th anniversary in SwSh. That Latias knew the move Sweet Kiss which it doesn't learn normally as a little reference to her kissing Ash.
