That's a PMD thing. The ORAS thing was more about him feeling like he needs mega evolution to win, but being too lazy to actively search for a "worthy" human and instead expecting one to come to him.
Zinnia was basically her game's Kieran. A self-obsessed psychopath with a hero's delusion who finds out in the end they're not the chosen one. The difference is she took it in stride instead of having a mental breakdown.

Although I personally think, when jut before Ian captured the sandshrew, Colress would be more nonchalant instead of cold (I can imagine his voice would be clear and 'cold' and I suppose it may as well be since it's Ian's perspective)

If handling Pokemon can apparently give you superpowers, would being a good trainer be something people instinctively find attractive? Do Pokeworld roasties dream of dating a Chad that has completed a Gym circuit? Can you get away with being ugly as shit if you're a strong trainer the same way you can if you're rich?

My fellow chuds don't like Pokémon Trainer Vicky for things unrelated to the sex but it seems to have been popular with the masses for a time, so I'd look into why that became popular and the mistakes it made to drop off. I'm not aware of any other notable FeMC fics. I do prefer reading a dude's perspective to be honest and I'm sure women would like a chicks perspective, so you need to know how to market towards them which most of us can't help with. The biggest reason I avoid FeMC is a lot of authors make it a genderbent dude so they can excuse not knowing how women act or live out their trans fantasies.

All the time. While I'm commuting, I think of scenes that feel appropriate for the song I'm listening to at the moment. I'm constantly fiddling around with the controls to replay certain parts 7-8 times so I can replay the scene in my head.
Sometimes I get annoyed because I think of a scene but then the song switches to something that's appropriate for another moment.

I wrote a small folklore-style story about the old people of Hisui. It's extremely short, because it's meant to imitate the Old Verses and Pokémon writing in general. I appreciate any sort of feedback or thoughts in general, I had a lot of fun thinking of this one last night.

Yes, Orre is a lawless shithole, they don't even require a license to fly on a pokemon or brush your teeth or give nutrition advice. Yes. I'm working on a fic in Orre, and I'm already planning on dropping some stuff that makes sense in it- Varoom, Skorupi, Maractus, etc. Mostly using an Unova based dex, though.

Thank you so much! I based the story on a few concepts (lore of ancient Sinnoh culture disappearing as foreign people arrive and colonize the land, the Pokédex entry for Poltchageist/Sinistcha, etc.) and tried to turn it into a short character journey that explores those themes through a broken family from the old Sinnoh people.
I wanted to leave details somewhat open to interpretation to make it similar to how Pokémon myths tend to go, I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

Don't fully underestand why but people can no longer enjoy a setting for the in-universe characters themselves, maybe because the product is already out there they think its redundant to bother. The second most popular types of fics are MC wank fics that do the same glazing OC/Inserts get and are pretty much a pre-cursor to them.

I checked out one of those anti-ntr fics and had a hilarious realization. These are just BETRAYED fics but for fgo.
