Given by the time Worlds '26 happens, they'll have revealed the new Gen and its real world inspiration, I have no doubt that VGC will once again return to Cart, be held in the country the games based it off and feature the gimmick of the Gen in the trad battle engine, because we all know just because they changed the battle system for 1 game, does not mean every game after adopts it (Strong Style says "Hi dipshit!").

Game of origin codes don't define mainlineness, the second list doesn't define mainlineness.
Mainlineness is defined by gameplay and key features.
TPC can push their go pandering, purposedly snowflake-named, botw copying, and tech downgraded remakes on that meme marketer list all they want, these games will never play like mainline games.
