I don't know what was funnier, the Fairy Type denial on the grounds of it sounding stupid, girly or gay or the fact that when it did come out it became one of the most busted and unbalanced types available.
Nothing was more satisfying than absolutely mogging people with a M-Gardevoir and M-Mawile or better yet, fucking Huge Power Azumarill that now unironically had a use.
Destroying people on cart or recreating it on Showdown and making people straight up give up because of Pikablu2 on OU are easily some of my favorite Gen 6 moments.

It was glorious when the gameplay vids dropped a little later and everyone got BTFO. I remember still seeing a few retards trying to say the vids were just an edited PM build and it's not real because Shulk had Marth's up b, Link's dair and PM Roy down smash. If I remember right the official Shulk reveal happened like a week or two after and they couldn't argue anymore.
