I'm noticing that (for better or worse) the official gamefreak designs really overexaggerate the design elements compared to these fanmade mockups which are more grounded.
It's why the real hawlucha is way better, but the real victreebel looks ridiculous.

Gen 6 was cucked from its own gimmick before and Gen 5 similarly only had 1 Mega. So it makes sense they get the most now, while Gen 3 gets nothing since it had the most by a large margin.
But yes, the Kanto privilege is nowhere as bad in Mega Evolution as people pretend it to be. Even with the new 4 entries it will still have 3 less than Hoenn.
