That was never an issue with buddy moves. They already had free reign to just make whatever move they wanted. Buddy Zen Headbutt or Buddy Vacuum Wave could be the strongest moves in the game if they wanted, they just haven't.

Speaking of powercreep, the EX MF thing makes me just not want to draw on the Arc banners. I liked the concept and the power they had, despite the 500 pity requirement and only having yellow candy to upgrade them. But when an EX MF Gloria can be on similar level as Steven, even if she helps hard carry Rock in support department, it makes me not want to draw on Arc banners until it's of a niche type like Fairy or until further notice.

Yes you trade 20 candy coins for a candy and then use it to function as a dupe. Units rarely need more than 3/5 and 5/5 is just a couple extras. Gloria doesn't even need anything other than 1/5 since her base kit is the best support in the game.

I think maybe the Terapagos sound isn't there by default. It's like how the Mega Evolution cries in Masters sound so strange. They do the transformation but the cry doesn't have the echo sound until the second time. Maybe the sound is only there when you use a STAB move and they didn't bother to manually add it back in.
