According to the leaks the new Ultimate Weapon, Ange, gets covered in eternal flowers during the climax, so maybe there's one specific Mega-Floette form combined with Ange and when you megaevolve it on its own it's just the regular Mega-Floette?

Also Groudon and Kyogre did the opposite, they tried to keep the natural energy for themselves, it's when you beat them and that energy is released that the flower blooms so if anything they were preventing the flower and nature of Hoenn from thriving

There is no way they won't insert Power Construct Garde into the game. If the "faithful", lazy BDSP has Rotom Forms and Origin Giratina, they will damn well find a way to insert 100% Garde in. Worst case scenario it's like Eternamax, but at that point they have the model so they might as well make it so that the garde box boosts you to 100 but only for this game, then once we're in Gen 10 it's back to using abilities to reach 100.

Terrapagos basically tries the same schtick but is a Cutemon and got relegated to Post-Game DLC.

Eternatus is the ugly middle child of "I came from a Meteor, bearing gimmicks" family.
