You are right in that the older women in art are romanticized but if you are intentional in trying to find an older woman of high quality, it is possible that you find someone. However, these mature women will also want a mature and responsible partner--not saying that you are irresponsible or immature, but that you may have to open yourself up to a partner who takes little interest in the things that you enjoy like Pokemon which she may perceive as something for younger people. Culture is changing about hobbies like this very slowly. It is likely that in 10-20 years older women will not be biased against hobbies like video games and anime.
