>How are we supposed to catch a new one if that entire species was cut?
Don't. Simple as.
>What makes the newer designs so inherently good that you are sure it can't be their fault if people don't like them?
They aren't inherently good, they are roughly the same quality. Just like in previous gens, there are designs I like and designs I don't like. It's consistent. What makes them inherently bad according to you, huh?

>They should've just told you to eat shit and leave your bros behind to replace them, right?
Yes, absolutely. They never should've pandered to autists because they can't accept change. They should've removed bloat from the start. Gen 2 would've been a better game if it didn't suck Kanto off so much, especially with the encounter rates in Johto.

>So why am I still given the Pokedex and instructed to catch all the Pokemon in every single game since Gen 1, to a point where Legends: Arceus had the primary goal of "seek all the Pokemon in Hisui" in order to fulfill Arceus's grand design?
Because it's only ~240 Pokémon you need to catch in that game specifically. Arceus didn't tell you to transfer all the trash you've been hoarding for decades and win the game instantly, did it? That would be an extremely unfair advantage for new players.
>Why does Pokemon Home exist, an app where I am tasked to complete the National Pokedex by gathering all the Pokemon of the ever-expanding world by transferring them in from all the games Home is compatible with?
Because it exists to cash in on collection autists. That'll be $2.99 per month plus tax plus tip, please. You don't want to lose access to "your bros", do you? So pay up. Good paypiggy.
