Faggot ass Cardmarket seller listed the Vocarona V full art as a Japanese version but it turned out to be Korean. The price was low enough where it wasn't worth bothering to send it back plus its my only Korean card so its good as a comparison piece, the quality is in fact way shittier than Japanese.

I bought a card on TCGp for $100 years back without photos. I was lucky that the card came in mint condition. But the moment I bought the card I realized what a stupid idea it was to spend that much on something sight-unseen. Never again now.

I'm not really concerned about that, I've had good luck across various sites complaining about condition. I have never been out of pocket and regularly get refunds (including shipping) or 40-50% off if the condition doesn't match. If the card has a nice front then I'll be good. For reference this is the cheapest one on ebay right now at $180. I paid $120 for "LP" rather than Poor/HP so anything is a win, if the front is nice I'll keep it for my collection. If the front isn't nice enough for me to keep I'll resell for a small profit and if it's really bad then I'll refund or get 30-40% off (10% per grade) that it's under. I quite enjoy these gambles knowing the sites will have my back

Anyone else have trouble moving rare products like ES boosters for full price? I have to sell at 80% with it taking a while, but I guess it's better than nothing and still a profit. Not touching ebay cause it'd be even more % loss. Currently everything's exploding in price yet it's so difficult to sell it off. What's a better way? LCS are fuckers who want stuff at 50-60% value, guess the next best thing aside from fb marketplace is card shows?

Sell while you can man. Just 2.5 years ago from late 2022 to early 2024 product and cards were selling at msrp or below and very hard to move/liquidate. If it drops again suddenly the shit you care less about is harder to liquidate for thousands. Not to mention how cheap they were pre-2020.
