Kalos back XY was literally just Kanto pandering, but seeing it shit on Kantomons this time around is kinda funny. And we haven't seen Starmie and Clefable yet.

Kanto's megas represents their millennial audience, who views sincerity and coolness as cringe tryhardness while loves irony and silliness.
Kalos' megas represents their alpha audience, who actually like coolness and intimidation factor moreso than self-deprecation and dumb memes.

Hawlucha is one of the blandest pokémon ever to me so I don't care for it or its mega, therefore Mega Victreebel > Hawlucha because it's at least funny.
Malamar is by far the best though, and Dragonite by far the worst. it looks like a joke but unlike Victreebel it looks unintentional.
