Designs shouldn’t sacrifice actually looking good for the sake of themes. I and the vast majority of people would prefer to have a design that’s appealing and simple than one that cares more about Muh Themes.

Honestly one of the coolest designs to come from modern Pokemon and GF in years. Probably the result of years of blueballing for having to shelve so many mons with good concept art that never made the final cut- especially given what we've seen from the Kalos portion of the Teraleak.
