Do all the events to completion mostly for the gems and move coins. Basically anything that's time limited that offers gems you want to do first.
Outside of that you want to be working towards completing champion stadium after the main story as that's the main way to get the resource to upgrade sync pairs from 5* to 6*

If you haven't already then you'll definitely want to rush through the Legendary Adventures set to get all of those pairs and then claim all of their new upgrades before that event expires.

Thanks. I just got to the stadium and completed the victory road section. It's saying I can only use one team for each battle? What kinds of teams, if any, could I scrape together from what I've pulled so far?
I got lucky and received red and blue before the victory road ticket gave me green, so them and the paldea starters are the only obvious teams I can pick out myself.

Teams want a support, damage dealer (preferably matching up against thier weekness) and utility or second support

A top tier support will make a bad team good and a good team great so if you have gems stacked up from story i would rolling on glorias banner, she's probably the best support in the game right now and the 2 other limited units in her pool are also exceptional

I've only made it past 20 in one of them so far and betting I'll only get past 20 on maybe three of them at most.

I do like the new pair cookies we get weekly. I'm hoping that doesn't go away when I hit a progression wall. And its a great way to get certs for level up now that so many can be bumped up.

Overall.... good for now. But it'll fade when that wall looms.

I haven't made it pass 15 in my most advance tower, the rest are 5-10 and there's some I can't even start because I don't have that type like Ice, Bug, Water, etc.
This game is hard for beginners because you can't make a "do everything" team, you need to have a good chunk of characters

I got to 20 on two and 16 on one. I'm just trying to get to 10 for each right now. They're a nice idea, but I can see it becoming like the Legendary Arena. Just sitting there as a dead icon. At some point, the only reason I'll click it will be for my rewards.

How I read the initial announcement for it, I thought it would be a kind of weekly challenge with character stories as a possible reward. And that maybe there would be a new story or two per month. But now that I've seen the last one, I've stopped caring about the towers.

I’m still waiting for an EX Grassy Terrain and/or Grass Arc Suit unit before trying to complete the final floor of the Grass Tower. I’ve got Carmine at 5/5 and Pal Erika at 3/5 as well as SS Lyra at 3/5, but I don’t feel like using any more of my candies on them.

Bro, no, you should focus on clearing as many floors as possible now instead of getting stuck. Weekly rewards are tied to # of floors cleared, not the highest floor you got to.

I was making sure that the daily attempts were getting used up elsewhere obviously. That was just what was taking up most of my attention.
As of now I'm simply chipping through the "clear all of the first 10 floors" mission instead of stewing away in the gear mines any further.

You get rewards based on total floors cleared, not cleared per week.
So you still get rewards, the amount just doesn't increase.
The only thing you "miss out" on are first clear rewards, but that's probably a wall everybody will hit at some point.

I quit back when Anabel and Entei were the only UBs released, came back for anniversary and basically beat all of them pretty chill with the units I got during the EX Master Fairs.
This bitch though really doesn't want to go down, what's her problem seriously, I need 3 weathers, constant -2 Speed debuffs, and enough damage to get through her syncs and she has two healthbar phases too, like girl chill what is this
