Glad it's been generally well received. I've said it before but requests have been good for forcing practice when things feel stagnated. I mostly just sketch and don't "finish" many pieces, never really even colored anything up till now, so the need to fulfill something kinda pushes that along.

I wouldn't recommend it. Macro city's Kaiju mons are oddly extremely territorial, and are technically wild. The only reason there's a relative order is because of the designated pack order, and respect of said territories, at the cost of the population who has learned to shrug with it.

That being said. adding a human to the mix, messes with this very tense territory semi peace.
That and for whatever reason, whenever there's one giant human, there will be others, which brings the Sentai Kaiju girls; which always causes problems. Macro city is at relative peace right now, we don't want to invite more trouble that shakes up the relative peace.

But you're not without sympathy in that; what I sincerely recommend is the city down the road that trade is had with, with technology. and food. It's pretty peaceful, and technically there's a defense pact between our two cities, but we don't talk about that out loud. They could use some mascots for their city.

Well Macro City is about 30 miles from the Unovan city of Black City, which is about 200 miles from Sentai city.
The town we do trade, Umbrella Town, with is about 30 miles from Macro City. When it comes to travel distance from Galar? Just hop on a boat, since different continent. So with a car, it's about a 15-45 minute drive between the two cities; with a Kaiju mon? About a 10-30 minute job/walk, ultimately dependent on size.

but that's just cartography nerdism on my end, but yeah, it's very possible.

My grandmother, while pregnant with my mother and aunty ended up in some sort of accident, causing her to grow massive. It wore off after awhile. Then my mother grew while I was only 10, my sister was 7 at the time. My aunt also grew around that time, though she lives elsewhere. Drawfag here. I haven't tried to play favorites with anything so far, some stuff just does come out looking better than others, but I get it. The biggest parts are probably the complexity of the request and the amount of time I had to work with it.
The recent meowstic one definitely got a bit more time than it should have given that it was a sequence, that's on me. Sequences should probably look closer to the meowscarada one from a while back (more sketchy, maybe some simple coloring slapped on) just to keep things even.
I have worried that trying to hit every request would be a double edged sword in that some pieces would be higher quality than others but I figure it's still just better to get more out there. At the end of the day it's all self-inflicted and I'm fine carrying on as is.

Everything's been fine so far (keeping in mind I've only been doing it for a couple threads now).
I think a (non)problem I have is that I try to stay mostly on-model for mons and some are way more detailed than others so they're harder to get into the right perspective. On the inverse, if anything is even slightly off with the less detailed ones then it's even more noticeable. Weirdly enough, the more you draw the same ones the easier they are to draw next time.

As a means of requesting stuff from you I probably wouldn't because giga is hard to make interesting, I've had many a thought of the male meowstic one you did for me and where it goes from there but I think it's better to try shooting as many unique pokemon requests to broaden it up for you to expand that field of yours.

Probably like 1-3 hours depending on how much attention I give it. Sometimes the initial sketching takes the longest because I can't get something right or don't like how it turned out. It usually ends up about the same as the line work, just more messy. Nothing but envy for people who can jump straight into doing clean lines without any of that beforehand.
I never had much of a flow for color/shading until recently so doing requests has definitely been helping in that regard. Honestly I wish I'd been saving the timelapses for pieces because that would've been perfect here.
I will say that if anything ever looked noticeably different it's probably because I've played around with different pens and settings per piece, but I'm starting to settle into some.

I'm no teacher but the biggest thing for me was just keeping at it, drawing whatever every day or two. You might not even notice but you do get better over time. I'm lucky enough that I just find it fun and can go for hours without realizing so I've been doing it a lot recently.
Not sure how far along you are but I'd also suggest not trying to learn everything at once (lines, color, shading, etc). I think I did that early on and it didn't help at all. Finding how you actually draw before filling it in is probably the best way to start. 90% of my stuff is still just rough sketches and it's crazy to look back at my older stuff and compare it to now. I'm not all the way there yet but I'm way further along than I thought.

Just thought of something to request:

A Spidops trapping two pokemon (Charizard and Rhydon) who bullied his small trainer by making them tiny and stuck them into some webbing sticking from one of his arms like a thread. The trainer would be standing on Spidops' head.

Even with the bump limit being at 310 here, I felt at several instances that the thread would've archived naturally without anyone's involvement.
I'm just trying to create an excuse to hit the bump limit but if I could I would definitely tip you if there were a way to, that and probably commission you to draw the most drawn out minun macro growth given I were a wealthy man with no specifics to the request whatsoever and just ask that you do what you want.
