Read the card; part of its effect supports Fire-types. You can get by better with monotype in the TCG than in the video games though 2 - 3 types is better when playing the TCG now that the weakness and resistance system is oversimplified.

Yeah I do and multicolor decks are usually giant memes, usually just multicolor to work one one specific pokemon that has a multicolor move, which in the end is still essentially attacking with only one color. There's a reason the game has 4 color land cards that were only printed once yet they're worth jack shit. The Pokemon TCG encourages you to hyper focus on one specific strategy or else you'll be left in the dust by everyone else.
