Buying Z-A, I'm glad to be returning to Kalos, gen 6 is one of my favorites, and Mega Evolution one of my favorite mechanics.

I think the only one I didn't play was UltraSun/Moon. And Pokemon X/Y.
If we count Spinoffs then the list will be a bit longer.

Also to anyone who didn't play Let's Go or SwSh, you're not really missing anything. If you're curious about BDSP just go for Platinum.

- I skipped Diamond & Pearl because I had already learned with Crystal and Emerald that you should never buy the first Pokémon game of a new generation.
- I dipped out of the franchise between HGSS and ORAS, and of the games that released in between I still haven't played XY (no particular reason, just haven't gotten around to it).
- I only played Brilliant Diamond long enough to save the game so I could get Darkrai in Legends Arceus, then gave it to my younger cousins who don't have anything that can play Platinum.
- And if you want to count alternate versions as "games I didn't play", then I guess I haven't played Ruby, LeafGreen, SoulSilver, Moon, Ultra Sun, Let's Go Eevee, and Violet.

You're not missing much. Like its cute... but that's it. It's Pokemon Yellow but gameplay's dumber and more geared towards mass spam catching and using the Pokeball for things.
I hunted down a copy with pokeball to avoid paying scalper fees on the controller. Bastards wanted $230 for the controller fuck that. Controller's alright and I get lots of items for my games, but its an even worse version of the Pokewalker and Pikachu voltmeter things.
