Most of those megas are still shit though. Kanga was always a good mega, it makes sense thematically for her to just have her kid come out and fuck shit up with her. Ampharos was awesome even before. Most of the new megas are just really fucking bad, like they wanted to try too hard to avoid accidentally making a design fans have made for the past decade; and that's a LOT of fucking ground to cover without accidentally stepping on a landmine. So they all feel really fucking stupid in unfathomable ways.

Mawile is one of the best megas, and that's because it literally just looks like a fucking evolution of the base mon. That's what megas should be striving for...
