Doing the Eden strategy seems to have worked
Play until after the Fletchling cutscene on Eden then transfer the savefile to the Ryubing folder, but of course you'll miss out on what happened at the start of the game because the cutscene doesn't play at all, unless there is already a gameplay of the opening of the game somewhere

Eden works on my machine. I used the latest Yuzu firmware from prodkeys and it works despite Eden saying it only works with 1.9.0.1 or older. If you just have to play this game then it's fine. Apart from some quick screen tearing "Flettchling" appeared it works fine right now.

For anyone having hash errors on Ryujinx/bing when trying to install firmware 20.3.0 or above (since it was affecting me until now and have seen others mention it):

>delete the registered folder (this is your current firmware)

changing from Vulkan to OpenGL completely fixed it for me. Doesn't seem to perform worse either.
Note: initially, it was loading it with my integrated intel graphics instead of nvidia, even though it was set to nvidia in the settings. This caused the entire game to go dark and stop working (the music still played). To fix this, go to your computer settings, Gaming, "Graphics setting" on the top right, Browse, then find and select the Ryujinx.exe you are using, after that go to Ryujinx in the list below, select Options and set the graphics preference to high performance instead (this should be your Nvidia graphics card). If this doesn't work you might have to change the OpenGL GPU settings from the NVidia control panel itself. I'll update if I get issues later down the line, also idk if this fixes any crashes.

About the dodging, can my pokemon actually dodge attacks during encounters if i run or do a roll? The tutorial tips pop in and out without warning so iv managed to skip almost all of them by mashing.

On ryubing canary, seems to work okay at first. Crashed occasionally. No day 1 patch. Tried 4k and 1440p.

When I get out in to the big city it always crashes when the fletchling flies towards the camera.
