That other anon is just a jeet shill working on behalf of Gamefreak but you're not alone. I ended up beating Arceus but I had problems every boss battle except for Kleavor. You only really get one way to attack, you have no ways of protecting yourself, you can only take four or so hits and and can't recover manually (I forget if it restores in the battle, I've done my best to block a lot of that game out of my memory), and your hitbox in reality is bigger than your character model which can really fuck with you as you're playing where you think you've dodged something and you actually haven't. And it's not like the battles against the Nobles is something you get a lot of practice with unless you go out of your way for rematches (which I think were a thing but again I don't remember). It ruined a lot of the fun of the game having to deal with these time consuming boss battles where the hitbox wasn't working the way it's supposed to. It'd be different if my model was just a giant fluffy Pikachu mascot then I would be able to see what I'm really working with. And it's really jarring because the rest of the game is so much easier. And I'm the type of person who farms Lynels in Zelda while taking no or little damage. PLA's system was just completely busted for the series we're dealing with. I'm actually really worried that ZA is just the same thing on steroids and it would be worth it for good lore but from what I've seen the whole thing appears half done and rushed very much like the original XY. I've changed a lot over the past three years and I've played a lot of other games since and I have a different standard of what I expect in a video game. It's very possible that when my copy arrives, if it plays out like I feared, I may not even finish it and just go back to Zelda, do another playthrough of Persona 5 or P3 Reload. Part of me wants Gamefreak to have the balls to just end this series already because they clearly stopped caring.

To be fair I couldn't beat Arceus deathless as well. I think you can reload at full health at certain checkpoints in that fight when you die. That's how I beat it. It is a pretty shit fight. Unless you can't even get to those checkpoints then yeah I dunno how to help you.
