I'm sure Starmie diehard fans will hate me but this mega has actually sparked my interest in the mon for once, I already had some surface level knowledge of the alien lore but checking everything it's pretty cool

>cryptically emits light and radio waves into the night sky to communicate with something, but only when humans aren't looking
>some people believe it's an alien. Funny enough, it's the only pokemon without a "face" other than UBs, the ultra alien pokemon
>upon megaevolving becomes so humanlike it looks like a human wearing a Starmie suit, seems to be a Starman reference too
>also moves more like a human now, just more erratic (almost reminds me to Majora's Incarnation), it may be trying to supplant humanity
Like man that's fucking cool, no wonder it looks like that, it's a weird alien doing weird things as it tries to prepare for its species' invasion to Earth. I'm not gonna say it's one of my favourite new megas but it's pretty nice and has made me appreciate Starmie a lot more.
