Megas were the best gimmick, but being the tastiest turd doesn't mean much.
I don't understand why it's so hard for them to just stick to making new Pokemon and regional forms, it's a winning formula.

Mixed bag. If the designs weren't all over the place I'd probably say "sure". As it stands, I'm more disappointed than not. If my fave ends up being meta relevant I'll be able to cope more, I guess.

My biggest gripe with the new megas is the roster they picked. Like, I unironically think the "megas should be for weak and unpopular shitmons" crowd is retarded. Garchomp Z/Y/whatever still sounds like a better deal than giving one to FUCKING VICTREEBEL. Plus, visually, some of the new ones ARE that bad. That said, the actually good ones like Froslass, Scolipede, Zygarde and Drampa are REAL good.
Looking forward to my longtime bromon and TRUE mascot of the franchise getting a second mega in the dlc pass btw :^)
