Anyone who would get a review copy is married to the series and will either say it's good regardless or say it's good to protect their career. Anyone bothering to pirate it before release is probably invested enough to have similar bias. So no one saying it's fun day 0 is reliable.

Time Stranger is a bootstrap paradox. You the player are actually a clone created from the MANY MANY Time shadows of the game's deuteragonist and main Digimon, Aegiomon after the latter went insane because the female fell through a time crack. So God/Homeostasis grabbed one of his time shadows and forged you from it. So even if you play Kanan, you're technically a clone of the male Aegiomon
