I really like the game once I start accepting for what it is and not what I expected it to be, but why did they simplify catching in this game so much? It feels a lot simplfer than in PLA, I really enjoyed using bait/irritants as if it was an open world Safari Zone. In ZA hiding serves no purpose since you can't force the Pokemon to turn around to get a perfect capture.

Perfect captures are way harder in this game. You may as well just battle them and knock them out.

I don't like all the "safety nets" in this game. I feel some quality of life is good but ZA takes it too far. Why is there a guy that returns all your missed Pokéballs for free at every Pokécenter? Wild area 2 I'm pretty sure, I just kept walking up to the barrier and checking the spawns from outside to not scare them away, teleporting to a pokecenter to heal and cycle new spawns that were there, and then teleporting back to run around the area once again. The translation gets kind of awkward when it comes to Canari. In Jap Naveen gets mad because the others keep saying her name without honorfics (not using -san) but in English Urbain keeps saying her name wrong on purpose just to make the same thing happen.
