Not totally bored no, but I'm starting to have the same midgame fatigue I had with PLA. There really isn't anything new to look at or things to explore anymore so now I'm just rushing through quests and waiting for the game to end.

I'm waiting for the pokemon home update so I can start the game with this team. Totodile will be my starter. Charmander will be a pokemon I get from Mable. I'll also have some weaker pokemon to balance the obedience issues. If wonder/surprise trade were in I would be playing it now because those hackers sending their pokemon helped me beat violet.

Most of the pokedex tasks were something you could get by just playing the game and using different Pokemon. You didn't even have to max it all out to get the shiny charm.

Took about 45 hours but I'm basically done with it unless I bother to replay with a different starter. Disappointing and dull but not horrible. I do appreciate the fact it's basically a sequel to XY and gives that game some closure but the doomsday plot is completely contrived and I don't care for the new characters.

ZA is worse on both fronts. Terrible Pokemon distribution early on, lots of Pokemon locked away until the very end of the game, and literally the worst combat Game Freak has ever made.
