Time won't be kind to this game, just like it wasn't with Gen 6, even though X/Y are much better than S/M people were piling up on it once Gen 7 was about to come out.
In this case, however, it will be deserved. The good things this game have done will definitely be brought back in the next installment and Lumiose with 3 buildings to enter isn't much memorable in my eyes.

Doesn't surprise me if this is accurate, much of the fanbase values battles and ZA had a large focus on them while still keeping the fun Legends catching mechanics. LA's battle system was ass, barely had any trainer battles and the boss battles are boring compared to Rogue megas.

Bullshit. PLA was a much more enjoyable experience. Every mechanic from Arceus in ZA works WORSE somehow...

I could try to remember more things like this game not having any way to transportation but rotom phones and running. Anyway, It's ok but PLA is the superior game.

And it's the most efficient method of catching Pokemon, literally every single one, even Legendaries and Alphas falter when you dab them in about five layers of shit so you can backshot them with a Gigaton Ball and catch them for free (balltism literally don't matter because they get converted into hideous green abominations no matter the ball type when transferred into HOME)...

Yeah. I think ZA is good. But it has some drawbacks compared to PLA. It's more of a sidestep for me. But if you strongly prefer battling over catching Pokemon or vice versa I can see someone thinking otherwise. Both games are fun

It’s crazy how PLA was the worst “demo” game ever with no real DLC, was quickly abandoned and full of empty fields, no multiplayer, with less battles than BDSP and now it’s the best Legends game ever compared to the game with actual battle mechanics, multiplayer and an actual DLC that doesn’t seem to be introducing a new shiny method after nerfing the old one.
