this unironically, I do believe its best quality is it just appeared, no one asked for it or anticipated it. It came at the right time at the apex of F&F and Initial D popularity where everyone wanted to dorifto, and arcades were still around.
I cut my teeth on this with the arcade sit-down cab, was blown away and bought it for xbox that week. The same arcade had FZero GX Deluxe, it was a good time to be alive.

It's a good game, top visuals and music, but honestly, I like racing against the CPU better (and yes OR2 offers rival cars but they just act like obstacles). Same reason why I often have trouble getting into rally games.
