>>11798517 (OP)>pic relatedIt's just grotesque
>>11798412300X is still small enough to shove in your pocket, the screen being 4:3 and not 3:2 is the bigger issue
>>11798527It's what I've wanted since the 351V
>>11798542The sticks just don't look comfortable to me
>>11798517 (OP)I feel like people are shitting on this thing a bit too hard. Sure, it's nothing new but it's a decent chinkheld for someone who doesn't own any yet though I am getting sick of DMG-shaped verticals, especially with fake bottom right corner speakers
>>11798527Struggling to see how, it's one of the only aesthetically pleasing looking vertislops with sticks. Though the sticks still look like a pain to use.
>>11798551I actually find this control setup quite comfortable out of any vertical handhelds and the size to be just right; having the center button as the main hotkey trigger is super convenient, and you can even save the second analog stick for things like hotkeys and such. The problem is, again, retarded Anbernig releasing a better build quality version of the RG353V with a worse CPU somehow, and the mono speaker not being at the forefront for some ridiculous reason. Is it that fucking hard for someone to release an RG353V with better specs and build quality while still being compatible with Linux?
>>11798551The regular RG35XX is fine
I regret getting a G350 now that the 35XX Pro is out.
Ordered the transparent teal.
>>11798591>every chinkheld since MM has buttons for volumeWhy do chinks hate volume wheels now?
>>11797076the placement is fine, good even.
I just wish they were bigger.
mine are also a bit squeaky. rubbed some graphite around them and that helped a bit.
>>11798620please understand potentiometers are expensive
>>11798620A combination of saving PCB space and trying to copy the iPhone aesthetic. Volume buttons are a fucking cancer and offer limited actual volume control. Wheels are perfect, it's why I love the SF-2000 so fucking much.
>>11798591>all five in pristine conditionSo it's true, nobody plays with these things, it's a collecting thing.
>>11798620Probably never even considered it as an option.
Which device do you use regularly nowadays that has a wheel control thing?
I look around my desk, and I don't see any.
Maybe an old gamer keyboard that I grew out of.
>>11798697I actually broke the analog sticks on my 406V and had to replace them.
>>11798697How much damage do you often inflict on your devices?
My Anbernic is still pirstine because it's fucking plastic
>>11798712There are only two types of people;
Retards who break everything they get and think you're supposed to replace it annually.
And people who aren't retards and have their shit last for decades.
Sticks are a cope, a 'held should either use sliders or go the sensible route and have 3 dpads
>>11798910Clickable sticks are a necessity for Ape Escape.
>>11798710Nobody:
Chinese video game handheld emulation device developers: Hey, remember when Batman's suit had nipples that one time?
>>11798910Tell me, Mr magic man. What good could not one, not two, but three sets of dpad bring?
>>11798910
>>11798915R3 and L3 should just be their own separate buttons, either with the face buttons to make it 6 like a Sega controller or as triggers. It has NEVER felt good to use R3 or L3 during a game unless they're specifically used to bring up a menu or something.
>>11798697Wait, you can play with them?
>>11798925Only Gpd and that one cursed phone controller did that
>>11798709>wheel control thingThats called a knob you knob.
What was your worst acquisition?
>>117989483DS and 3DSXL.
353V and X28 for chinkhelds.
>>11798412The Micro was an abortion and it greatly benefitted from a resizing, just like the SP.
>>117989790>x28Was it because of the sticks? Or powkiddy's android?
>>11798578>stereo speakers on a vertislopyou wish!
only trimui understands the importance of stereo on premium handhelds.
>>11798620this is the true reason my favorite is still the rg351m.
though, the rg300x is excellent after i modified alsa a little and added extra volume steps.
>>11798948Miyoo Mini.
Flimsy, cheap, underpowered trash.
>>11798948My first RG35XXSP. Technically it was fine but the battery wouldn't charge anymore, so I bought a second one since I'm really smart and know how not to waste my money.

>>11799074Golden age of phones incoming?
>>11799074Hi, welcome to the general.
>>11799074can we have a phone like this again?
So should DS/3DS run on this thing just fine without fuss? Will touch screen stuff work correctly? Got some Etrian Odyssey games left to work through and would like the map drawing to function well.
>>11798995>only 351P and rg351M used the wheel>351MP, 351V and all 350s and 353s use buttonsI wonder if they only did it for closer likeness to GBA
What was your BEST acquisition?
>>11799089Reminds me of having this at one point.
>>11799186RG35XX plus with muOS
>>11799129Yes, people who have a spare monitor says it's running DS/3DS fine on two screens. If you got a RP5, just swap the RP5 screen to the map drawing screen and try drawing on it.
Best handheld for GBA in terms of the screen+ergonomics?
>>11799089>>11799196Slightly off topic, but is there a way to get a signal to one of these nowadays? I upgraded my last screen rectangle for a flip phone and it's been heavenly, but it'd be fun to slide the keyboard again. I was initially forced to "upgrade" back when 3G service was cut, so I imagine that's the impossible hurdle to functionally using this tech now.
>>11799320>>11799330Not sure these are powerful enough to run GBA
>>11799312A GameBoy Advance :)
>>11799312retroid pocket 5
>>11798710I still can't believe that the vertical device Anbernic released has very tall, protruding sticks, and yet their high end Android device the RG557 has super tiny sticks. Too much fent isn't good for you Max.
>>11799319>his country has no 3g support anymorerip.
i could still use mine, we still have 3g, but it's too slow for today standards.
>>11799186My phone, because it gave me /hhg/ which continues to be helpful.
>>11799312RG35XXSP and Flip 2 imo. SP is great but Flip 2 is better, albeit overkill.
Got a KTR1 used and I think this might be the ideal pocketable form for me. It's just about as big as it can be while still being able fit comfortably my pocket and since it's a basic slab shape it slides in much like a smartphone. The curve is enough to make it feel as ergonomic as possible short of getting a proper grip. 3:2 is perfect for GBA and comfortably close enough for many other systems.
>>11799336They are but unfortunately they can't run Saturn without frameskip and overclocking
>>11799186>What was your BEST acquisition?V90s, can't believe they've mogged Miyoo and Anbernig this hard
>>11799319Lg enact and optimus f3q both support 4g depending on your carrier.
Imagine not still owning your phones from twenty years ago.
Imagine being the type of stupid fucking idiot who just "rents" the most modern smart phone for two years then brings it back to get the next smart phone for two years.
I own every single cell phone I've ever owned, since 2004, because I paid for them and take fucking care of them. This fucking Sanyo flip phone is sturdier than fucking ANYTHING Nintendo has ever made, and fuck it, I have a small library of java game titles I paid for still on them. Including a cell phone exclusive Nightmare Before Christmas game, and an 8-bit Mega Man game but where you play as Rush.
>>11799546I just counted, and I've owned a total of seven mobile phones in my life. Those three, plus the Galaxy 6, Galaxy S9, Flip Z 5, and recently the Pixel 9 (because the fucking Flip Z 5 screen died and costs $700 to replace, easier to just pay the plan off and get a "free" phone, only one they had for offer was the Pixel 9 and it's a fucking nightmare compared to Samsung's phones. It's like someone took Samsung's version of Android, dressed it up to look and function like an iPhone, and then fucking flipped the entire screen so everything's designed for left-handed people or something. WHO THE FUCK PUTS A BACK BUTTON IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER? oh wait, THE PIXEL 9 HAS NO CORNERS, THANKS TO ITS SCREEN CUTTING EVERYTHING OFF).
>>11799546>>11799548This strongly reflects why I fucking detest "gaming on a phone" and would rather just have a dedicated gaming device. Even using my old S9 with an Ipega phone controller is fucking ass.
>>11799546they serve no purpose and just collect dust.
I meanwhile, bought a refurbished LG V60 with the dual screen case for $200, several years ago, and refuse to move on because it's awesome. Only had 2 other phones before that, they're broken garbage
>>11799565>Breaks his shit and buys second hand>Thinks the classic flip and slider phones have no purposeChecks out.
>>11798979>The SP was an abortion and greatly benefited from a resizingGet a load of this Gen z mongoloid over here.
>>11799546i would still have most of them, but some were stolen.
i do have my last 3 phones, though. 4 if i count a nokia 6630 i lent to a friend of mine i'm still in touch with and still has in a drawer somewhere.
let's nag anbernic to make a GBA SP XL using this big ass screen. would be awesome and better than the slide. ideal ps1 machine.
>>11799574You're a retarded nigger if you're against buying refurbished electronics. 99% of electronics never get inspected before leaving the factory. refurbished ones get 100% inspected.
>>11799574your classic flip and slider phone has no purpose.
which is why you never use it.
>>11799548>WHO THE FUCK PUTS A BACK BUTTON IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER?Every Android company except Samsung?
>>11799593Samsung only put the button towards the right later on
>>11799548>shartshung fagthey are the only retards that have the buttons flipped.
pixel phones (and sony to a great extent) have vanilla android. it's samsung that shits everything up with their stupid UI and nonsensical layout.
also.
>current year>not using gesture navigation
>>11799627>Gesture navigationSorry, I'm not some fucking Wiitard/Kinectwit
Every single fucking "gesture" command can be done faster and more effortlessly with a fucking thumb tap/swipe.
>>11799627>Having the back button on the right is... le flipped!!Every single keyboard, window, old phone, interface, etc has always had it on the right side. I feel like I'm talking to some fucking Mac faggot justifying the mouse only having a single fucking button.
>>11799584They'll just make a h700 version of that thing that's psp go sized.
>>11798591H700 runs hotter and has worse battery life than the 3326, performance is roughly the same
I want the SF-2000 form factor with two sticks
Keep the volume wheel
Capable of up to DreamCast/GameCube/Saturn/PS2/light Xbox
NO fan needed
For under $80
How many more years? Two?
>slide is $180 early bird
Lmao hard pass
>>11799705A shame that every single fucking attempt chinks made at a SNES with a screen catastrophically fucked things up EXCEPT for the SF2000, besides the rubber Start and Select buttons not being tilted. Otherwise, flawless.
>>11799579What generation do you think you are growing up on the GBA SP, shitstain?
>>11799719The closest thing you're going to get to it, spec-wise, is the Retroid Pocket Classic. Which is $124. Except the Pocket Classic is a Gameboy Color inspired vertislop while the Slide is, well, a slider handheld like the PSP/Experia.
Surely you're not too much of a paint huffing retard to not understand why one costs $55 more.
>>11799730Gen Z was literally infants/diaper babbies when the SP came out, you fucking imbecile. You embarrassing clown. Who the FUCK was buying their 0-2 year old baby a fucking GBA SP?
>>11799735Cope befitting of Gen Z.
>anbernic slide doesn't have an oled screen
Could've been perfect. There is always the next 3 versions of the device and they might make it thinner with oled
>>11799739I hope like with the original RG35XX, we end up getting like seven revisions of it with the RG35XX+, RG35XX New, RG35XX H, RG28XX, RG35XX SP, etc
>>11797726I can't justify the purchase, Dpad in the lower position. Bad ergos and the lack of multiple USB/HDMI ports as well as only one TF card slot, which given the size of the games it can play is churlish. This device needs a revision maybe like the six button dual screen device posted here.
>>11799762I'd honestly rather buy a third phat NDS
Which I did
>>11798620>>11798709I considered using a volume wheel with my AI held, easier given the devices' width. But the twist would be that, much like a mouse wheel button you'd be able to click it to swap between volume and scrollwheel.
>>11799546Keep them around for what? Anytime I see someone with a dumbphone in public I automatically suspect they're a sex offender that isn't allowed access to the internet.
>>11799798That's kinda a strange thing to think. What you think are dumbphones aren't even feature phones. They're just smart phones with keypads, which they had before.
Is there any advantage to getting any of these if I already have a hacked 3DS and Vita?
>>11799847Do you have have the desire for handheld 6th gen? Do you care about android games/ports? If no to either, not really if you're already comfortable. But I feel like you're curious.
>>11799849I was thinking that it would be fun as a little gimmick, nothing too crazy
>>11799856>gimmickIf you never used a six button controller before, then arc-s on sale.
>>11799865That looks goofy, but great. Thanks anon
>>11798945same difference
>>11799462always wanted one but wanted the Dreamcast color scheme and they don't make those anymore
>>11798948>Bought R36S and RG35XXH impulsively because i never had any gaming handheld all my life>Got a fake R36S, the performance is fine (like the real one) but the battery sucks>RG35XXH is pretty good, amazing battery life>Realized i rarely used it because i don't like playing games on a tiny screen>Sold bothMaybe i should try steam deck
>>11799186RG40XX H
Though considering how often I end up playing arcade shmup, the RG Cube might have been a better idea.
Still loves mine
>>11799874I warn you, it might look perfect for saturn... But it's not.
>>11799425>I still can't believe that the vertical device Anbernic released has very tall, protruding sticksNot the new RG35XX Pro
>>11799546You're just keeping those for nostalgia.
Which is fine, but don't act like others are missing out for not doing that
is the 34xxSP a flop? I dont really see people talk about their's like the 35SP
Heads up if you want the 35xx pro, the G350 which I'm assuming has the exact same shell is built weird.
The board is only screwed in at the bottom half of the shell, so it kinda seesaws
I think because of this they used a slightly taller pivot on the dpad but the same membrane and pad shape of the other xx devices, resulting in an insanely sensitive mess. Fixable thankfully
I didn't have to cover anywhere near this much of the pads on my 35xx+
>>11799076Golden age of phones was in the early 2000s. These things today are only phones in name. while they do have capabilities of a phone, they are pocket computer camera hybrids.
>>11799934yeah not much hype for it, looks like the same buttons as the 35SP unfortunately, good ram for ports but bad screen for them. Created just to ape the miyoo flip
>>11799964hey, tape anon.
do you have a trimui brick? how is the dpad? needs any fixes?

Get 406h or wait for 477h? Gonna be weird if rg447m is really this flat
>>11800219>Gonna be weird if rg447m is really this flatI hope it is, especially hope the sticks don't protrude like they do on the 406H. If we actually do get what amounts to a slighter bigger metal 40XX-H with the Slide screen and Gamecube emulation, then that's me done, I will never need another chinkheld ever again. Pretty much guaranteed to use analog triggers of course, but that's a sacrifice I'll be willing to make if it gets me literally everything else I could ever want.
>>11799723all of these look like garbage. the stick doesn't belong.
also, snes games are meant to be played in 8:7
>>11800486What am I supposed to report the 8:7 4:3 posts as? Because when I report them as off topic the mods donโt do shit. Feel free to report my post, maybe the mods will actually read it instead of doing jack shit.

>>11799964thats wierd because I would consider the 40xxv to be a near perfect d-pad and it should be the same form factor.
>>11799998Pivot is a little too shallow compared to a retroid dpad but its ok, better than the 35sp stock
>>11800542I have the 40xxv and h, both are good but just a touch too sensitive to play anything seriously, easy fixes.
I think its the lack of screws on the top of the board on the g350/pro thats causing the differences
34xx needs pretty aggressive covering too
>>11800597Btw here's a GBA board
see I'm not crazy
>>11800597since you're the tape autist, are these repairs still working well long term? I would have thought the adhesive will eventually give out from repeated pressing
>>11800597Do you ever put tape on your girlfriendโs nipples?
>>11800679yeah this is special tape
i have controllers and handhelds that i tweaked 4+ years ago and they haven't had any shifting issues or residue
Even when used as a pivot base it hasn't had any issues and is very low friction
>>11800597>Pivot is a little too shallowsame as the trimui model s then?
i added scotch tape where the pivot rests so the dpad cannot press all 4 directions easily. it has worked fine ever since.
so, i guess i'll have to do the same once it arrives.
>>11800502>>11800503Here's a tip for you newfags: if you ignore trolls, you'll never need to report them. 8:7fags wouldn't post bait if you didn't bite every single time.
>>11798517 (OP)The more I see the RG Slide, the more I like the idea. Anbernics execution leaves a lot to be desired. If it was slightly thinner, wider, and used slide sticks, it would be top tier.

I found the 8:7 thing informative. I didn't know that chrono's sprite on the DS port was using 8:7 proportions

The PS1 version also uses the same sprite, and gets output at 4:3.

>>11800825Rocknix. Don't expect to play the heavy psp games well.
>>11799186I'd say it was my Galaxy Tab A8 tablet because it genuinely replaced my laptop for 90% of tasks, it's more compact and easier to take with me to places and especially on roadtrips, and every accessory gives it what it needs to excel at specific use cases, with my Bluetooth keyboard it's perfect for posting on imageboards, with a stylus it's how I draw and get in touch with my artist side, with a telescopic controller, in this case an Ipega PG9083s, it's a handheld that can make CRT shaders look so nice, and when I remove all of these things it's perfect for consuming content, especially reading books or comic books/manga. I love this thing.
I also got it for less than US$99 used and in good condition, a complete steal.

>>11801606Knulli is bloated and takes forever to load
However it has features muOS doesn't have yet like bluetooth.
Just try them both and see which you like more
>>11798517 (OP)>ynr coleco made a sega handheld once
>>11801606Knulli is a Batocera fork (Which itself is a fork of Emulation Station) so you get prettier UIs and way more tertiary things like native SSHing or RetroAchievements support baked in on the OS level in exchange for like 5 seconds more of boot time. It's also meant to be idiotproof so it somewhat prevents you from touching certain config files because it does OS-level overrides. They've made it much more user friendly with Gladiator and allow you to do basically any RA customization that would likely be necessary in the OS itself so it's mostly pointless to touch RA options inside of RA a this point.
Rocknix is just base Emulation Station without what Batocera focuses on. It gives you a bit more freedom than Knulli but isn't as up to date as far as I've seen.
MuOS and things copying it are the barebones, minimalist OSes. If you want something that does a cold boot in about five seconds and is just lists for the very basics needed to run your emulators this is is. It also lacks basic features the other ones have like Bluetooth which requires you to go to their Discord to grab (I think that was MuOS).
As far as I understand it GarlicOS and OnionOS are more or less upgraded versions of the stock OS looks of all these various cheaper handhelds. They take the look and simplicity of it and act as a middleground between minimalist and ES. They usually have more updated emulators and extra features the stock OSes don't have.
I personally do not care at all for minimalist UIs because I like the video previews, screenshots, the extra stuff like native SSHing, and the far better menuing which is why I've stuck to Knulli. Most of the people who want the minimalist stuff use their systems regularly outside of the home because stuff like

Wifi seems to be a dealbreaker for lot of people well, mainly reddit and the biggest reason mentioned is retroachievements but does it really matter for chinkhelds you carry with you to places you probably won't have wifi? Or do you just use your phone as a hotspot all the time?

It doesn't "buffer" the progress if you go offline while playing like Xbox does to prevent cheating them and it doesn't let you earn achievements offline only to unlock them when you go online like Steam or Sony do to prevent more cheating.
It's an always online system to prevent cheaters and people using completed saves to earn stuff. As it is they're only somewhat lenient with how you're allowed to use certain save files to bypass unlock requirements for higher difficulties so you don't have to do multiple playthroughs to unlock it in an "If you earn it it's fine, we'll assume you grabbed your real saves" way but discourage providing saves for other people to do the same.

I'll also mention the odin 2 is running everything on GC upscaled with widescreen hacks, and everything on PS2 with widescreen hacks(although a handful of games need to be at native res because the emulator is an underdeveloped PoS)

4:3 troon lost.
>>11803782I have been holding this back because the shitposting is fun, but I'm afraid you've grown delusional, 8:7fag.
Your best argument to the 8:7 claim being correct is comparing the SNES and DS ports of chrono trigger (conveniently ignoring the constant background art discrepancies in AR on the original but whatever)
However, the DS port runs at 256x192 compared to 256x224 of the snes version.
You purposefully misrepresent this in your frankly, shitty, collage of cope and lies.
Additionally, you do not account for the overscan cropping that is set to default on almost every single snes emulator, including all the retroarch cores. This also decreases either vertical or horizontal resolution, which is then scaled.
This is done so normoids can just fill the screen vertically by default.
This is in addition to your supposition that rectangles are never ever used in video games, and that all boxes must be square.
This is also incorrect.
The human field of vision is wider than it is tall, for obvious reasons. It is easier to move your head up and down maximally compared to left or right.
You fight against nature's visual perfection just as you fight against nature's numerical chromosome limit.
You are integer scaling, but doing so post crop.
Ergo, it is you who is the troon, 8:7fag.
Perchance.

>>11803913Yes, thats the internal resolution.
I don't understand why this is so confusing to you people.
240p itself isn't a proper resolution, it's just taking advantage of a quirk, flaw in how a CRT displays a 480i image.
Snoy took advantage of this with the PS2, tendie took advantage of it horizontally and it worked so they carried it over to the snes from the famicom
Why is vertical stretching fin with you but not horizontal?
Going by 8:7 fags 'logic' games were meant to be played in a small square box on your TV because thats what the number says.
>>11803925Well yeah, you guys are arguing different things
1. The native resolution of the SNES is 8:7
2. It is (or was) typically displayed on a 4:3 screen

Why is this general in particular so bad? /vr/ is supposed to be one of those smaller generals with less shitposting and more genuine discussion, but this specific general feels more like a /v/ thread, where 90% of it is ragebaiting or people being needlessly hostile, something that typically only happens in broad popular boards where people arenโt necessarily passionate about the topic of discussion. >>11805075 >It looks like they both support SDC, cant app data be stored on a card?Doesn't data speed drop considerably when you set an SD card as internal memory extender?
Since internal storage (even on chinkhelds) tends to have higher transfer rates than SDs (except the very highest end ones, like the Extreme Pro).
Also, if you set the SD card as internal, you're stuck with it, since part of everything on your phone now resides on it.
>>11804138>Are those all the transparent ones?SNES, SP Silver, transparent blue, and transparent black are V1.
Transparent red, transparent green, and transparent white are V2.
The V1's got a V2 refresh but because so many stores still have the V1 stock you typically get the V1 which is why if you want to guarantee the fixes you need to get one of the newer transparent models, otherwise it's a gamble.
>>11805978i got a silver one, is there any way to tell mine is a v1 or v2? face buttons dont feel like theyre hard to press down, definitely not enough to warrant making a v2 but they do not feel as good as the buttons on the 35xxh and theyre loud as fuck too

>>11799129since its android, im not sure
>>11805993Since you don't have a transparent one the only way to tell is by popping the battery out and seeing if the fish paper is underneath it. It's a green piece of card stock basically. If you're willing to open it up then the way to tell is to look at the face buttons, start, select, the function button, the volume button, or the shoulder buttons. The buttons all have black foam on the buttons themselves.
If you have a v1 you need to apply the button fix via washers on both the d-pad and face buttons and optionally slap fish paper in there too.
If you have a v2 you need to apply the button fix via washers on just the d-pad according to the guy who was advocating to do it. Apparently the face buttons are fine in the v2 and don't pierce the domes since the new buttons are shaped differently.

>>11806457"Oh, honey, he's teasing you. Nobody has two television sets." is a famous quote from the 1980s movie, "Back to the Future" (you haven't heard of it? Wow). It's from the scene where Marty first wakes up in his mother's house in the past, comes downstairs for breakfast, and calls a television show that's airing for its first time live, "one of his favourite reruns". It leads into him talking about his television in his room, where his uncle starts freaking out about how rich he must be to have two tv's, which his grandmother ends the conversation with, "Oh, honey, he's teasing you. Nobody has two television sets." It's a great scene, very relevant to this conversation too.

I still donโt understand why this drama got so big. Nowhere in the video does he show how 1280p divides evenly into 720p to where integer scaling isnโt affected. Anyone who can do basic math would realize that this conspiracy makes no sense.
>>11809172No idea and I donโt care whether the screen is akshully 4:3 or not, I just canโt get over how they completely fucked up the bezels after nailing the SP look with 35xxSP
>>11809181The 34XXSP bezels look better, tho. No black glass bezel + device bezel; itโs just the singular device bezel while the content goes from edge-to-edge on the screen
>>11809182It just makes the contrast between the super narrow sides and the 5head even more blatant (which is the real problem honestly)
>>11809080>>11809084Isn't the metal part the part that gets hot on the Brick? So is this entire thing going to be a heating pad?
>>11809197It's not a flaw, it's a feature!

>>11809206This YTMND and the three memes it combines are officially retro as of two months ago, deal with it
>>11799546>my motorola g1 still works>modern xiaomi phone only lasted 1 year because got one with a shitty faulty motherboard
>>11809197Perfect for some comfy reto gaming on winter
Do all trimui devices use dome switches?
>>11809171For me it's the complete opposite, though I'm aware everyone's different. Mine is 10.5' and I personally love to use it in bed to consume content, especially reading as you've mentioned, and compared to my laptop it's lighter, quicker and more portable, comfortable to use in general, also love to turn it into a big handheld with a controller, and at last, as an artist, draw on it.
>>11809187Blame the higher ups at anbernic. The giant bezel is supposed to be for stickers/sleeves. Theyโre also the reason it has sticks in the first place. Max was going to make it look like this.
>>11809424I love this design
the miyoo flip has my favourite clamshell design overall, it's just a shame that it fucking explodes if you sneeze on it
>>11809172GBA is 240x160, so the best way to integer scale onto a 1280x720 display is 4x to get 960x640 and lots of wasted space. Anything more would go over the screen's height. You can use the whole screen by using sharp bilinear to get the famous "balanced pixels." So yes, it was a big deal. He just made a dumb mistake of assuming that chink hardware reports as what it actually is inside Linux.
What's the consensus on the R36H? I have a RG35XX Plus and it works okay. I would like to get a horizontal handheld and rather than get a RG355X H, I'd thought I'd try to get another brand entirely. Thoughts on the R36H? Who makes it anyway? I couldn't find a webpage with firmware downloads like with Anbernic.
>>11809424I'm baffled that Anbernic's higher ups pushed for the design we have now instead of what he showed off.
>>11809492Game console. The actual game console. Not everyone who uses that name is the same company.
>I couldn't find a webpage with firmware downloads like with AnbernicThey donโt have a website. Most 3326 odroid clones just use a special version of arkos until the dev adds official support
>>11809424If that's really the case, I hope Max sees the feedback and rubs it in their faces, this one better come out before fall or I'll settle for powshiddy's
>>11809492>Thoughts on the R36H?Handhelds which can't run 3D games in full capability shouldn't have a stick up top, I don't know why chinks can't wrap their head around this
>>11809530they shouldn't have a stick at all
>>11809934The ninja winking really made this webm
You put your ewasteheld in your pocket
I rub it all over my brain.
We're not the same.
