This and Super Mario Kart suck.

It's a little baffling that we got near perfect 3D Mario Kart in 1996 then 5 years later they release this decrepit mess.

No, I don’t really see what’s confusing about that. Are you also confused about why the GBA F Zero games aren’t as good as X?

No, because F-zero was good as a 2D game. Mario Kart was not. Who was hyped for Super Circuit after playing Mario Kart 64 for the past 5 years.

F Zero isn’t a kart racer. The real answer is Walt Disney World Quest on GBC.

Everyone enjoyed it at the time. Unlocking all the SNES tracks was a monster bonus.

64 easily has the worst physics in the series.

I put a bunch of hours into this when I got it.
If you keep trying to play it like the 3D karts you'll never get any better.

I could never wrap my head around circuit's drift mechanic. it's so natural to cut corners in the snes version but I constantly find myself turning of the track in sc, seems unintuitively wide.

I swear, N64 nerds have the worst taste in everything.

64 is nowhere close to perfect, are you insane?

It was still kind of a novelty to play snes level games portably back then on a gba/gbc. Super Circuit kinda rides in on that. There wasn't any expectation on the gba to have 3d anything. Certainly nobody was expecting parity with 64.

You're probably starting your drift too late. There's literally no track in the game that you couldn't drive around flat out, even at 150cc.

Everyone knew GBA was ass. They were releasing downgraded ports of SNES games on it, anon.

I can recall that I didn't want to buy GP Legend as a kid because I didn't like Super Circuit very much.
