Thoughts on Her Weight Is Not Enough on N64?
Also curious if someone played the PS1 version which is a different game.

Some people say it feels more like an actual Bond game than GE, but I'm not invested in the movies, I just care about fun and GE is simply more fun. That said, it's not that bad either, it had acceptable gunplay and some leves were reasonably fun but fuck the stealth level and the underwater level.

Loved it on ps1. It had flaws but it also had a fantastic, underrated atmosphere. Same control layout as MOH, so it worked well.

I love it, underrated game. I especially liked the forest/airport level with the crossbow, amazing draw distance. The game does tons of cool little things like an actually functionning escalator in the subway level when most other games would content with making it a slope rather than actual stairs. The rooftop/market level was also memorable.

The PSX version isn't very good

Don't think I've ever heard anyone describe atmosphere in a game as underrated before.

Not them, but it felt like the first PS1 FPS game that took place in a non hostile world, considering there's a whole ass casino level without any violence.

Night Watch? I dunno if there's different versions of something, but I played the USA version and found that you can actually kill the guards with punches or darts/stunner into a punch and you dont fail the mission.
You dont even need to deactivate all the cameras to beat the level.

Yeah but you have to be careful who you kill/put to sleep and where the body ends up. You can only safely kill the guards that are alone by themselves. IIRC I'd kill about half the guards and go past the other half.

It just feels super barebones, most of the time it's just a succession of small corridors and small rooms, enemies are all the same and aren't very smart also sometimes you can see the enemy spawning and the gunplay isn't very interesting imo. It just feels like a very low effort game compared to the N64 version

afaik its that one guy roaming around that triggers the mission failed state if he gets hit/tranquilized or sees the guards fall asleep or start shooting.

One nice thing about the PSX version though is that it does get the "action movie protag" feel, like you have waves of dozens guys rushing at you in a dumb manner while easily gun them down and are basically invicible

I've never liked the PS1 version that much, the way its gunplay feels is off and its missions are very slow, also movement is a bit bad. Black Ops games never got that great feeling aside Treasures from the Deep. I liked the N64 version, but not having a controller pak crippled the experience and I played it a lot from the local video club, at least multiplayer was really fun.

I liked it. GE is definitely much better though and has a lot more soul. The pause menu alone is night and day when the pause menu in this shit was an advert for Motorola. I still enjoyed stunning people with the watch and split-screen though.

I like both versions, the 64 one is a bit more interesting while the PSX one is more of a generic shooter. AOF and Nightfire on console will always be my favorite bond games.

I liked this game a lot as a kid. The multiplayer wasn't too bad either. I remember I got stuck for the longest time on the 'Masquerade' mission because I didn't realize I had to jump to grab onto a zipline to escape the explosion. I would always just run past it. I had to watch that scene in the movie to figure it out.
