I was thinking about this just yesterday. I was playing Gran Turismo 2 on PS1. I was occupying the only TV that we had set up. My parents were annoyed because they wanted to watch the news, just to be up to the newest events. My father switched away from AV mode and we saw "Breaking News", I was far away from the TV and only saw two burning large chimneys of a factory or a power plant (?), my father switched the channel and it was on every single channel. I only later saw it was two burning skyscrapers in NYC. I forgot what happened after. My mother told me later that day how the buildings both collapsed later on.
I remember seeing that Address to the Nation from GWB. Atta's mugshot and Bin Laden's picture were on the news for weeks.

I don't think I was playing anything that night. iirc, I was sitting in a statistics course at Fine Hall when classes were abruptly cancelled and we were told to head to our dorms. The next day, there was an assembly or whatever you'd like to call it with grief counselors available and one ho from Iowa was crying about having a nightmare that the terrorists blew up her family and all I could think was "bitch, how the fuck did you get into Princeton if you think anybody is going to waste their time attacking irrelevant-ass Iowa? Jesus, you're dumb."
But I do recall playing a lot of DDR around that time at 8 on the Break in Dunnellen.

Wow. We really WERE rich lmao. We had one in the kitchen, one in the TV room, one in each bedroom except the guest rooms and y'know what? I'm gonna count my Turbo Express TV tuner as one, too. So my family had six total. Actually, seven. We had a black-and-white portable somewhere in the garage or attic that I saw, like, twice. Pretty sure it was the attic cuz I remember putzing about up there and finding the flood light the same day I found the b/w TV then using the flood light that night to play flashlight tag and kids getting pissed that the light blasted everything
It used roughly a bajillion D batteries.

terrorists have no projection capabilities. The most they can do is be invited en masse by the elites (who are aware of everything) so they can do random terrorist attacks and outbreed the population. I'm an europoor and I don't care about terrorists attacks because I know they're a nothingburger today. Not until muslims outbreed natives and they start pulling a sharia

>why
Just look at this thread, I can give a fairly accurate answer of what I was playing 24 years ago.
I started the list in 2015.
Since then I have tried to list every game and if I played it within that quarter.
Some things were impossible to track like D2 and Zoo tycoon, because I would constantly revisit them for about a decade. Other games I could narrow it down to a relative period like oregon trail 4.
Now that I'm looking at this date range again, I might extend the Star wars gungan fronteir a quarter or 2. I replayed that game a lot.
