the combat is so fluid and so fun. more action rpgs with fluid combat like this? i tried shining soul one for gba and it didnt do it for me, but this is so fun and fluid in comparison. no shade to shining soul one either, just my opinion. your reccs could be open world, or top down, either is fine

Do you count Castlevania and 3D Zelda games as rpgs? Otherwise can't think of any, it probably exists but is some obscure gem no one knows about. Fighting games have the fluidity but not the rpg elements.

I never played terranigma, but you could try Ys 1 and 2 (PSP remasters are good). It's surprisingly fun to just run over enemies (there's no attack button)

bump combat? well you've got ys, xak, lagoon. not much to choose from but yes it's very fun and fluid.
