He has mentioned playing games off screen at home, and he had a WiiU, 3DS, and Switch, on his own. He said he played Resident Evil 4 all the way through, and it took him about a month's time to play it. Which makes it difficult for it being a challenge.

I have a competitive personality though. There's plenty of stuff I'd just turn off if I were playing by myself, but I think I'd actually enjoy bad games MORE if I were playing them to show a room full of people I could beat it. It adds meaning and significance to the activity.

Since they have a tight relationship with Nintendo, the Nintendo first and second party sports games are very likely, and because they don't require an additional licsense for real world players or teams. If they were to do a Nippon Baseball game for instance, they need permission from NBL on top of the publisher. Wave Race is officially licsneed by Kawasaki Jet skis, and thus might not be chalelnged for those reasons.

You have to go through two levels of bureaucracy rather than just one. Same reason that manga/anime license games are more work. It's just more busywork for Ogawa and the rest to handle, so they keep it on the minimum. Many companies are also clueless, have no idea what this even means, and don't think it's worth their time.

They recently got Blast Corps rights from Microsoft, so there's a chance for Crash.
