This is like a really weird specific digital version of scrapbooking and I don’t know how to feel about it.

Geocities websites with frame based navigation and embedded midis. I don’t recall anything like this.

I didn't play Eradicator until several years, it was impressive how it was basically Build-level tech and in some gameplay ways maybe even more advanced while being more of an indie, but the levels got tedious pretty quickly

Zero Hour is actually a lot of fun but the checkpoints are pretty unforgiving.

NTA but engine wise and feature wise Eradiactor is very close to Build Engine games like Duke Nukem 3D. The rendering engine looks similar, it has many effects that Build Engine games also have, even has the third person view.
It does have the "picture in picture" thing which Build games didn't have and which would probably have destroyed framerate in Build (though admitedly I haven't tried Eradicator with period accurate hardware).

oh I see thanks! I totally forgot that build is an engine.

Duke3D had monitors showing different cameras and mirrors.

The resolution for those when not viewed in first person is abysmal though. It's better in Shadow Warrior but it did tank the framerate
