She had a rat problem too. Why would her place be full of pillows and rats? She kept pillows in her attic too.

The rats would eat those pillows.

Be honest with me now: how many of you guys have built pillow forts in Morrowind?
Anonymous No.11861450 [Report] >>11861489

A combination of pillow forts with potion walls. This was first on the Xbox, though, so it was much easier running into that bag of holding. I also liked stacking a few potions topped off with a lantern along the roads.

Lanterns was one of the bestest parts of decorating in Morrowind, you could just plain put cool lights around your house, and you could carry them with you and use them too.

I liked the blue lanterns and candles a lot, and I remember making a quick and dirty plugin which would place a bunch of the red paper lanterns in a box somewhere for me to use, just because there existed very few of them in the game (there's only two of the square red paper lanterns placed in the default game world, while the hexagonal one isn't even placed anywhere at all).
There's also only about 10 or so candles with red light in the game, I added some of those too. Compare to the hundreds and hundreds of blue candles and lanterns, and thousands of regular candles and lanterns.

Does there exist any "quasi-HD" mod for Morrowind? Like something which ups the polycount and resolution on items, characters, weapons, creatures, etc, but not by a huge amount, and without supplanting the original design intent, like just enough to make characters and creatures look a bit less blocky.

I've always used that old Better Bodies and Better Faces mod, and I thought that was just about the right upgrade on faces and bodies for what Morrowind is. The only thing it clashes with at all is armor and clothing.

you should make a lantern shop in the construction set and publish it as a mod. decorate the shop with the coolest lanterns. have the shopkeeper talk about ingame lantern fun facts, because i enjoyed learning about the scarcity of cool colored lights from your poast.

I was never very good at the construction set, also that trivia wouldn't be lore friendly, because that's technical statistics about the game.

I imagine it started as a Bethesda developer experimenting with the new features in Morrowind, spawning a hundred pillows and stacking them all over the place, and deciding it was funny enough to include as a running joke just like the Boots of Blinding Speed.

Man, I'm enjoying Tamriel Rebuilt a lot. Here's Old Ebonheart. Currently doing thieves guild quests, they're very good.

It adds something like 900 quests which is already more than the base game. Everywhere i've been so far has felt fully fleshed out, but i've barely scratched the surface.

Absolutely nuts. Kinda wish they would have focused at the least on fully completing Morrowind as a nation first, then built outwards from there, but hey, I can't exactly be picky when good lads are volunteering literal decades of their lives just for the love of the game.

There's a mod called something along the lines of "familiar faces" which remeshes all the faces while keeping their face structure and vanilla texture. Basically fixes stuff like Caius's face having a mouth that doesn't match his mouth in the texture.

That may be tricky to do/ look janky since there's a limit of like 8 light sources being active at a time

Are you sure about that? I'm pretty confident that I've loaded down large houses with colored lights before, that sounds like maybe it was a limitation on XBox.

Neat. Make a potion out of it.
