>>11868370Duke Nukem Forever had a long development cycle, with most anons wanting the E3 2001 build.
That 2001 build got leaked in 2022, but as people went through it, people discovered it was EXTREMELY unfinished, very bare bones, and learned from former 3D Realms staff that builds from 2002-2003 were more complete, before development restarted in 2004 or so with the stencil shadow graphics ala Doom 3 and different plot.
Duke Nukem Forever went through many engine changes, so "Quake 2 stuff" refers to the 1997-1998 build which was made using the Quake 2 engine, before they switched to Unreal Engine 1.
The reason OP is desiring the 2003 build is because a leaker dumped a beta copy of Duke Nukem D-Day for the PS2 last month (around the same month and day as the PS2 build date), and OP's photo was giving hints that Duke Nukem Forever's 2003 build would leak very soon afterwards, but it never happened.
