Feels a bit wasteful honestly. What PC specs do you have to play retro vidya?

Are you really telling me i'm cringe because i have a dedicated GPU and i'm not playing on the intel graphics of an optiplex or thinkad
Anonymous No.11879749 [Report]
Would you rather go the speed limit with your engine topped out and screaming or at a comfy 2kRPM?

I'm telling you you're cringe because you made a post to seek attention and validation about it

Extremely low quality thread. OP is a fag

The topic isn't really in and of itself inherently /vr/, but I think it can be salvaged. We can just talk about using modern hardware to juice up old games, instead.

For me, (gongaga), playing Render 96 will full raytracing was pretty cool. I always loved how old video game CGI looked, and modern hardware lets it get really damn close, and if you're going the high res route, games like Killer7 are super cool at higher resolutions.

Yes, i'm sorry. I shouldn't have jak or frogposted. My intention with this thread was to see if other anons felt the same way as me about their PC hardware, assuming of course that they have a computer overspecced for the games they're playing.

I will think more before i make a thread next time.

but you can play retro games with stupidly high framerates and AA. On my 165hz monitor older games look like I'm looking into a dollhouse because of this, it's really cool.

Embarrassing zoomer nonsense

I have a 4060 TI that I exclusively use for generating sloppa. All of my retro gaming is done on original hardware without the use of flashcarts and/or ODEs. I am unbothered by this situation.

I have a low-end pc but yeah, I play retro way more than modern games. I simply can't stomach having a full game installed on my PC and having access to a demo while all the content is locked behind a paywall

CGI promo renders were a thing since before the N64 even released, and people have been wanting to play a version of the game that looked like this render, since before RTX was even a thing

and yet that doesn't exist, even nvidia RTX doesn't look like this
