>>11880895Yeah, EWJ and Battletoads were behind, say, Crash and Spyro, when it came to 90s videigame mascot experiments, but they were certainly well known, and had they been handled better, probably had some more steam in them. What surprises me most is how well Rayman seemed to survive, despite being a pretty lame character and never seeming to reach the same level of relevancy (speaking as somebody who was a kid in the US in the 90s). Probably had to do with Rayman's first 3D game not being a massive turd like EWJ3.
