I like Pop’n and Chunithm. The Pop’n at my local Round1 is cheap as hell and never in use so I can park myself at it for hours at a time. I used to be able to do the same for Chunithm but my local spot got too popular and now I’m always having to switch off every game or two and since the arcade is free play with an entrance fee I’m getting less game for my money.
If I won the lottery one of the first things I’d do would be to buy a ton of cabs and set up a home arcade.

If you want to drive more discussion about the WonderSwan, it would behoove you to go into more detail than "some rhythm game." You could start by elucidating the title of this WonderSawn rhythm game. Perhaps you could even include a screenshot or gif of the game in action so readers who are not yet familiar with the game can get some (much needed) context.

It's been years and I still can not beat the shark level on Master Mode. I finished the rest of the game using someone else's save file, but that level is fucking impossible for me.
>>11889278 >Make two of the best and more iconic rhythm games >They barely sell >Start making generic rhythm games for normies >They print money
And yet people wonder why game companies avoid making original games

what are you talking about? Lips? Who the fuck bought Lips? If you wanted to sing you just bought rockband.

The /vr/ games are on PSX, PS2 and GBC in addition to arcade. Use the usual emulators. I have no idea about the controller but you can use a normal controller or your keyboard.
I like DDR, but whenever I stumble across a new machine it just has shitty new songs that all sound like ass. Even the current iteration of Dynamite Rave sounds bad.

Are the PSX/PS2 games as good as the arcade versions? I never got around to emulating Bemani games so I'm similarly unaware with DDR/Beatmania/Gitadora/etc lol.

As far as I know the arcade versions have new songs and every song from previous games in them, and console versions only have the new songs, other console-exclusive songs, and some of the previous songs. Other than that the console versions should have a few extras like new modes or unlockable galleries. You can just go back to the previous console games if you want to play old songs again.

Oh okay, thanks, that's good to know for sure :)
Are the PS versions equal in audio or graphics quality to arcade? Im assuming at least the music is, yeah?

I need to get myself some sorta foam pad for DDR and the like. I've always been into it, and am kinda kicking myself for usually being too embarassed to play it as a kid.
