Sadder than anything else with this series' state, the total annihilation of its art style is the worst.
The remakes could magically improve every mechanical aspect of these games and I still wouldn't touch them because I don't want to play what looks like a zero effort phone game.

I think my expectations were lowered by the fuck ugly charmless fomt remake so when I saw this I was like oh that's not so bad. They could've looked at the pretty art of the original artist and then I just executed it better on a technical level but my expectations were low
