I'm Capcom's case lemme lay it down:
Alpha 1 - Good
Alpha 2 - Mid filled with bugs
Alpha Gold - Okayish?
Alpha 3 - Pretty Good with lots of extras but not Arcade accurate
Darkstalkers 1 - Good-ish (For a port made in the UK) but not accurate.
Vampire Savior - Dogshit
Children of the Atom - AWFUL done by amerifats
Marvel Super Heroes - Mediocre
VS. Series - Why they even bother?
Pocket Fighter - Average
JoJo - Good for an Impossible Port (Sucks they didn't try the PS1 Alpha 3 trick of Mirror Matching allowing more Frames per characters tough, and NONE of the exclusives from this port were used in the Dreamcast port)l or even a PSP Rerelease)
Now SNK..... Oh god....
Samsho 1 & 2 - Mediocre in spite of being done years later
Samsho 3 - A Fucking Mess
Samsho 4 - Average
Last Blade 1 - Mediocre
Galaxy Fight - The fuck happened to the sprites?
Double Dragon Neo Geo & Gowcaizer - FUCKING HORRIBLE and done by SAURUS.
Fatal Fury Real Bout - Average
Dominated Mind - Acceptable but Strip down port of RBS
Don't even get me started on the KOF ports, I played 98 and 99 and those almost made me cry.
