MiSTer owner here, it's about 99% of the way there but will likely never be 100% unless a crazy breakthrough is found that deals with the RAM timing issue. It only effects a few cutscenes in a handful of games though, and I think one game (Blues Bros 2000) has the gameplay break in specific sections, but I don't know if that was also fixed since then.
It's not going to compete with the accuracy of a real N64, though with a MiSTer you also basically get the equivalent of that N64 having an expansion pak, flashcart, HDMI mod, RGB mod, bluetooth mod, USB controller mod, and infinite memory cards (How the hell has nobody made a proper one for N64 yet like they have for the PS1, PS2, and GC?), and of course it supports dozens of other systems.
If you already have a N64 (Especially if it has an Expansion Pak) and don't care about any of the other mods then just getting a Summercart will be cheaper and more accurate than a MiSTer. If you care about doing a HDMI mod, or an RGB mod (Of which nowadays you would need a specific earlier model N64 and a separate mod since it's no longer built into the HDMI ones) it's going to end up costing more. And if you don't have a N64 already then the N64, Expansion Pak, and Summercart can end up costing as much as a MiSTer. At that point it's a case of how much you care about the handful of games that are slightly off in cutscene timing to put the time and money into it. The HDMI mods require an above novice level of soldering experience.
Basically if you value 100% accuracy above all else and already have a N64 just get a Summercart, if you don't have a N64 already or want HDMI/RGB then it depends if the higher cost is worth it to you to use a real N64 over a MiSTer.

>n64 emulates perfectly on my potato computer
No software emulator runs as well as the MiSTer's implementation so far. For example they all run Knife Edge way too fast while MiSTer does not, and they all have the same DK intro desync as MiSTer.
