I am talking about this one. I am currently being employed as a history teacher for an IGCSE course, and I decided to re-read some information regarding the Nuremberg Trials for my students, since some of the details (more specifically those prosecuted) were a bit hazy.

Lo and behold, I stumbled upon the original shot that Kowloon Kurosawa used for this particular digitized background in HK'97.

There is a 1945 American film that was made specifically for being screened in the trials and show what the Nazis had done. Around the 9:16, they show the inside of what appear to be a shed with rows upon rows of dead people piled up... and that's where I found the shot. I couldn't find any information online about this specific shot, only the infamous "Bosnia" one from the Game Over screen.

That's a pretty good question. I dunno, I recognize patterns and such when I see them, it's like seeing a specific pattern triggers a picture-like memory in my head. The exact moment I saw that wall from a different shot, I knew I had seen that particular wall somewhere before.

It's from a Japanese gore video titled 'Death File: Yellow'. The whole thing was on Youtube at one point (dubbed over in Portuguese for the Brazillian market, of course).

I just watched an interview with Kowloon and he says he made maybe 40 floppy discs and didn’t say anything about a cartridge.
