The situation has improved. No longer do we horny men have to look at weirdly distorted American-or-British-designed fictional ladies with their uncanny proportions and their mean eyebrows or weirdly distorted Japanese-designed fictional ladies with their tall hips and freaky scrunched-together facial features. We can, but we don't have to. The 3D artists in today's game industry are actually competent, for the most part, and they no longer exclusively mimic comic book styles. The 2D artists in Japan have all fallen into some kind of eldritch mind trap that forces them all to make characters who look like they're from Fire Emblem, but in other, more psionically resistant cultures people are using a wide variety of styles, a few of which even manage not to suck. Interest in sexy ladies has only increased as the world's population has done, and games, like most other creative media, clearly reflect this. And on top of everything else, most of the old stuff that was any good is still around for you to enjoy, to the extent that you're capable of temporarily escaping from your grievance addiction and experiencing positive emotions.
