Artificial difficulty crap

Just turn earlier on last turn, barely missing the inside wall, never brake in Shooting Hoops.

Can't stand drifting in RRT4, it's so simplistic and dumbed down

Pretty much. At the absolute worst you can let off the throttle for a split second to make the last turn, but even DRT cars tuned for all speed and no handling can make that turn flat out with the correct entry line.

It wasnt that hard but I played it so long ago I have no advice.

it means the difficulty doesn't feel like a natural progression, not that the game grew from the dirt u mong

Just hypertap the throttle button so you get extra turning without breaking into a drift. If you've ever played F-Zero X, you know what I'm talking about.

Other alternatives
>lightly tap the brake while pressing throttle if the former method is still not enough
>downshift before the turn (do it while still going straight as to not induce drift) to reduce speed and take the turn easier
>configure your gamepad to be interpreted as a negcon if playing on a emulator, you'll get extra turning range (this feels like cheating)
