There’s lots of good GBA games but the ports suck and I get really annoyed when some zoomer acts like the Mario Advance games are the superior way to play that series.

What happened? If you got stuck in the part where you have to recruit the guy in the cave (Quin?) I also got stuck for a bit there and then figured it out. If you got rid of something essential then my condolences

There is also a glitch where if you do missions in the wrong order at one point you can get fuked, be careful

I mean I beat the game and then I attempted to do all the missions that I missed, but the game wouldn't let me, I tried for hours and it just kept repeating the same missions that I either already did, or that I couldn't do because I was missing the items necessary. I tried talking plenty of things to get me unstuck but nothing worked, it's like the game assumed I had some mission items that I never got.

I am not 100 percent sure it is the case, but you can get stuck into almost never finding the right mission because some are tied to a certain town in a certain month. I got stuck for a while and couldn't figure it out but eventually got it. Checking afterwards, people also got stuck and the town they said the mission was is actually wrong since I got it in another town. If anyone gets stuck like this, if you don't want to do it blind like I did, check the missions for the items you need online, and if you cant find them, watch somebodys video on Youtube and confirm what town and month they triggered the mission on

>The Lion King 1/2
>Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
>Yu-Gi-Oh! Eternal Duelist Soul

This is my personal top 10, maybe a little autistic, but I love the GBA's library in general.

You're wrong. I have proof that the GBA is more than just a pokemon machine. There's plenty of other games that are totally worth playing on the Gameboy advance. The Gameboy advance is a great little console that has tons of games in various different genres. The Gameboy advance offers on the go experience for long time love. The Gameboy advance gives you handjobs under the table at Applebee's. The Gameboy advance is a Japanese invention. The Gameboy advance was manufactured in Nanking. The Gameboy advance was named after Bradley advancely who leveled up twice at the same time. The Gameboy advance has a hard time driving at night. The Gameboy advance was sent into space. "A Gameboy advance: lessons in advancing games", was a best seller in Finland. And that's why op is gay and eats bags of dicks on the reg.

To be honest, I sort of care about Pokemon even though I never got into it since all I have ever played are the pinball and puzzle games from the franchise. Yet still, I only played GBA games through the Gameboy Player (GBI instead these days) on the Gamecube. Only after the 360/PS3/Wii days did I finally get an actual portable GBA, but I have to save up for a screen replacement. Would be nice to be lazy laying in bed playing the games. So there's still some usage for the device.

The gba shined at a time when having SNES games in your pocket was a new and exciting. Now there are much better ways to play SNES on the go.

I've been getting into some of the library recently having never had one growing up and generally being a confirmed PC and PSX/PS2 fag at the time. Advance wars, Zelda and the Minnish Cap, the Banjo and Mario racing games and some of the FPS ports are all surprisingly fun. Max Payne is also weirdly fun.

2: get it consolized
3: buy 8bitdo blue-tooth SNES controller
4: entire access of GB thru GBA library at home with a SNES - modeled controller

Bullshit. This was my favorite handheld system and I stopped playing Pokemon with Yellow and Pinball.

You had fun side-scrollers like TMNT. Action games like Astro Boy and Ninja Five-O.They ported almost all the early Final Fantasy games, plus Sword of Mana. And had original RPGs like Golden Sun. If you liked tactics games there was Tactics Ogre, FFTA, Advance Wars, and Fire Emblem. There were Metroid and Castlevania games. Plus the cult classics like Super Dodge Ball Advance and River City Ransom.
Anonymous No.11938864
Super Dodge Ball Advance was great.

It has a few decent JRPGs and some good ports from the SNES. A DS, an R4 and an EZflash make owning one mostly pointless unless you can find someone to trade Pokemon with. I have an Advance SP I found really cheap that I did a shell swap to just because I felt bad for it at a thrift store, but I've used it maybe twice.
