>want to play an old game

>on inaccurate emulators it does not
>prospect of playing on an inaccurate emulator also bothers me

I don't know what you're doing wrong but it's probably impressive
Also try an accurate core on Retroarch. RA has Dynamic Rate Control specifically to avoid crackling

No, it's the game's fault. Oracle of Seasons just does that.

Who fucking cares about your mental health problems?

If you can't just have fun playing a video game you should genuinely consider Canadian healthcare.

Personally, I'd rather it be accurately fucked up then inaccurately not fucked up.
All part of the experience. If the audio crackles, that's just a normal flaw with the game and it should factor into whether it's good or not.
Unless you are doing something special to make it crackle. Then that's a flaw with your setup.

Your autism is literally getting in the way of your fun. Just use the most accurate emulator without the audio issues and compromise, focus on playing, OP.

the only time I get audio crackles is when using save states, therefore I deduce that op is savescumming

Why do so many toddlers need such a [ristine experience? It used to be common for multiplatform games to have at least one version absolutely suck compared to the others, but people still loved them because it was what they had access to. Just play the fucking games.

Can you post a recording of this? I have never played the game and am curious.

Anyway I guess you cannot tolerate any GBA game under any circumstances? Kinda sucks for you in that case

Work on it. Its not about "not caring" is learning when its important and inconsequential to care as being overly attentive to things that don't actually matter can and will rule aspects of your life.
Something as silly as a videogame is a good place to practice. I'm being serious btw.

Some people got OCD and stuff mang, it's not always that simple. But in this case yeah I'd guess that >>11942607 is pointing in the right direction.

Emulators have a unique quality of their own. If you can learn to appreciate them for what they are, it can help you to readily appreciate things in general, which then allows you to enjoy them. You are clinging to arbitrary expectations which are suffocating and robbing you.

Autism is not a perk, it's a debuff. Work on yourself.
