This is Underworld, dedicated to the famous and legendary film series.
It's a game that has been heavily criticized and despised. It's certainly a video game that could have been better developed, given the beauty of the film, but it's a masterpiece of retro gaming. It has the gameplay of a Sega Mega Drive/Genesis game, the graphic quality of a PS1, and was released for the PS2 only in Europe (so they say).
I think it's beautiful, and if you're a fan of the series starring the gorgeous Kate Beckinsale, it's a game that absolutely can't be missing from your collection.

BloodRayne. You play as a hot vampire chick slaying monsters, zombies, nazis, and everything in between. I don't like hack and slash in general, so judge it for yourself.

Darkwatch. An FPS this time. You play as a Van Helsing-type dude working for Darkwatch, an ancient vampire-hunting organization. The catch is that you've been bitten and now possess vampiric abilities that you use against the enemies you fight. It's fun.

Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession. Dark fantasy party-based dungeon crawler. Evil big dick vampire steals a sacred amulet from your lord and your party must get it back. You fight off demons, skeletons, werewolves, lesser vampires, and other demonic creatures throughout the quest. It's fun.

Castlevania, Ghosts n' Goblins, Blood, Heretic & Hexen, and Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption & Bloodlines need no introduction.

Haven't played these, but I'm fairly sure they follow the theme: Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen, Clive Barker's Undying, Demon's Crest, Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Realms of the Haunting.

Bloodrayne is good. The mix of attacks and weapons gives you enough to not be overly repetitive. It does get a bit tedious neat the end. It starts out really cool a carried levels, but by the end you have a Nazi hit list and it's level after level of killing Nazis. You drink so much Nazi blood I'm surprised you don't turn into one.

There's a myriad of games out there where you play as a vampire but I can think of only 2 or 3 where you play as a werewolf.

It was more “matrix with vampires” in the same vein as the blade movies. The focus was clearly on cheesy slow motion action rather than a love story

Damn never would have expected to see someone talking about this game.
Anyway it wasn't released only in Europe, I bought it here in Australia.
I remember liking it as a kid but maybe I mostly liked the soundtrack and the movie.

He's teased at the end of 4 and in 5 it's revealed that he died offscreen.
Idk why 4 and 5 were so shit after 1-3 were so kino. They even wasted Charles Dance as a vampire which is criminal.

It may have only been released in Europe and Asia; in America, no one knows the physical version; they use it with an emulator, which works just as well.
Here in Europe, it's very easy to find.
This game is a classic with very '90s gameplay, and yes, the soundtrack is awesome, and I love the movies; I have them all.
If you still have it, dust it off and play it.

From the video, it looks like Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
If it were to be like Prince of Persia on PS2, it would suck. I hate that game, but I really appreciate the Sega Genesis version.
